As If ! drops infectious new project “Westside Energy”

LA-based producer, As If ! has just dropped his much-anticipated album “Westside Energy”. This also marks the producer’s first release of the year, as well as his newest album since the release of his 2022 project “Bang America 5!”.

As If ! uses this project to give listeners his take on a project produced by an LA-bred musician. The LA native originally planned to release this as a throwaway but his manager convinced him otherwise and thus, the creation of the amazing body of art that is “Westside Energy” began. The 8 track project features various artists like Triccstar, AzChike, Jakarta $lim, Steven Cannon, and GoGetta.Kb as well as others. The project boasts an energetic hard-hitting vibe along smooth R&B vocal croons. As the name implies, this project is full of “Westside Energy”. Naif who is also part of the producer collective known as Better Sounds Recordings with As If! helped mix the entire album, as well as executively produce this project alongside Barry Emerica and Vikram Iyer, who also manages the LA-based producer. Neither producer nor featured artist disappointed on this album, and this is well on its way to becoming an underground West Coast classic.
