Texas artist CA the Don has caught our attention for his fresh new release “Too High”. A stylish, versatile track that showcases CA’s diverse songwriting and ear for catchy melodies, “Too High” provides heavy replay value while also being refreshing and character-rich in its captivating blend of styles. Produced by Scar, cam sos, and CA the Don himself, the song begins with jazzy, smoky guitar chords and a rich rhythm section that evokes hip-hop influences, before launching into a shimmering house and dance influenced segment. Throughout it all, CA remains consistent as a vocalist with smooth vocals that toe the line between hip-hop and R&B with laid-back melodious verses and hooks. The new video does well to enhance the track’s relaxed stylishness with cohesive shots, warm filtering, and a captivating performance from CA.
