UK indie-pop singer-songwriter Cordelia, released the song “Little Life” in October, 2023 an acoustic single about appreciating and cherishing the little things in life. Cordelia expresses a mix of emotions and reflections on life, aging, and relationships.The lyrics convey a sense of nostalgia and contemplation, as the singer ponders the passage of time and the complexities of human connections. 

The song has soundtracked over 280,000 videos on TikTok, creating a challenge where people compile clips with their loved ones celebrating different milestones big or small, centered around the song’s chorus which goes, “I think I like this little life, this little life.” The creators that have contributed to the song's spike in virality are college students, recent graduates, travelers, and celebrities. The challenge has rapidly spiraled into a cycle of discourse surrounding wealth, class, and nepotism from different digital creators. Although the song has led to a lot of mixed reactions on social media due to how people are interpreting the lyrics, one thing’s for certain Cordelia has made a song with lyrics that beautifully evoke a bittersweet sentiment, capturing the nuances of joy and melancholy in the journey of life which most people can relate to.
