Introducing You To metaphor

Every so often you come across a band that just blows your mind. Luckily, I recently had that experience with metaphor, a four-piece band out of San Diego, CA. With a unique blend of genres that spans indie, rock, and pop, metaphor manages to strike the perfect balance between the three genres. From the moment their music hit my ears, I was entranced by their ability to craft songs that are both familiar and musically adventurous.

While they’ve only dropped 8 songs, each track feels like its own journey as the poetic and introspective lyrics immediately strike a note with listeners. At the same time, the accompanying instrumentals are extremely climactic and full. Whether it's the massive melodies of “this one’s for the ‘losers’” or the upbeat energy of "Fun Dip," each song brings a unique yet cohesive vibe to the overall project. If you need a new band to be obsessed with, I suggest you give them a listen, I promise they won't disappoint.
