Jxylen shares pensive EP ‘DIVINE ORDER: ACT I’
Jxylen has returned to our platform with a fresh release, DIVINE ORDER: ACT I. Following up his album PROJECT MAYHEM: FIGHT CLUB EDITION from late last year, his new EP takes on a lighter, more atmospheric tone with cathartic lyricism atop a series of soulful, versatile beats from E.N.G. Creation. With sharply-crafted, emotive verses that captivate the listener with their detail-rich explorations of Jxylen’s inner state as well as the world around him, DIVINE ORDER: ACT I makes for an engaging, pensive listen.
“DON’T WAIT” makes for a project highlight with its poignant, focused production and thoughtful yet hard-hitting performance from Jxylen, while “LOOSE ENDS” follows next with a glitchier, psychedelic soundscape. “THE GOD HOUR” brings in a warm, poised soundscape that injects a feeling of subtle glory, making the track a crescendo of the EP’s cathartic, powerful sonics and writing.
