King Madi drops raw new album “Ashton”

King Madi has finally released his highly anticipated project “Ashton”. This also serves as his first project of the year.

The album which was named after Madi’s real name, features various artists such as Type1ne, who is a frequent collaborator with Madi, as well as KC Karma, Chethelyricist and more talented artists. “Ashton” showcases a more vulnerable side of King Madi. On tracks like “it could be worse”, King Madi talks about accepting things which are no longer there, and acknowledging the importance of the loss. On personal favorite “Don’t Look at the Clock”, Madi discusses taking a risk and sharing the painful experiences which he’s gone through. This track sees King Madi free himself from the shackles of trauma.

“Ashton” gives listeners a look at the traumatic experiences King Madi has gone through, and shows them a more vulnerable side of Madi.
