Morgan Pirtle shines on new single “TS4L”

Chicago-based artist Morgan Pirtle has shared a new single called “TS4L.” An elegant, catchy track that blends traditional jazz stylings with modern sonics, “TS4L” makes for a versatile and engaging listening experience. Pirtle, who holds a degree in vocal jazz, displays her characteristic knack for blurring the line between contemporary and classic sounds on “TS4L”, while also showcasing sharp songwriting abilities. 

“TS4L” opens with vivid, summery synths that build in layers atop a grooving, infectious rhythm section. Shining on the song as a vocalist, Pirtle’s smooth, feather-like melodies drift atop the instrumentation with ease, building throughout verses before they are capped off with an ear-worm chorus. Later in the single’s run time, addictive, warm horns are added as well, making for a detail-rich accompaniment that works cohesively with the track.
