PlusIV drops sensitive new double single “HelpWanted/Take Away Feels”

Detroit native and rising superstar, PlusIV has dropped a new double single titled “Help Wanted/Take Away Feels”.

On this single, PlusIV talks about his mental health- a theme that has been prevalent in most of PlusIV’s recent work. The Detroit native, who isn’t one to shy away from the topic of mental health and drugs, uses this single to create a space for people struggling with substance abuse. “Help Wanted” sees PlusIV have a conversation with God. “I know I’m a failure, I’m weak. I know that I’ve been using for weeks” PlusIV lays out all his insecurities by submitting to God in the second verse. As the title implies “Help Wanted” sees PlusIV ask for help from God by asking for guidance. During an interview with PlusIV, he said “Sometimes you gotta just submit yourself to God, and let things go from there. I know this song can hit home for some people”.

On “Take Away Feels”, PlusIV discusses how drugs takes away these negative feelings and numbs one’s emotions. He acknowledges the negative effects that comes with these drugs. “I waste my life half of the time because I keep buying the weed and these pills” which is melodically rapped on the record. “People will love you for how vulnerable you become”, he says. “The poetry is vulgar and sad, but I know it’s gonna help people in the long run. Little do people know I always wrote poetry like this” he says during an interview with him.

PlusIV has been consistently releasing quality drops. From “INeedUSometimes” to “Last Forever”, and now this double single “Help Wanted/Take Away Feels”. Produced by RoyaChild and Wolfgang Pander, Ivy Verde is definitely special.
