With well over 45k TikTok’s created using the song, it has become a soundtrack for somber, powerful, and deep moments and ideas across the app. With off-kilter strings that develop into a grim and melancholy melody, the song is impactful from the first listen.

The artist behind the widely-heard song is called Take Care, and he has remained relatively mysterious through the rise of his artist project. Releasing three albums since 2022 that feature a wide variety of sounds and moods, Take Care is clearly comfortable reaching outside of the normative box that most artists lay in. Experimenting with entirely different sounds than what are easily found in the mainstream right now, it is no wonder that Take Care has found a lane of his own.
