Kieran Ivy Keeps Hot Streak Alive with “ Get out my house”

Last Friday, UK-based indie pop artist Kieran Ivy released his new single “Get out my house” following the success of his fall releases “Evidence” and “Lightning.” “Get out my house” has the same psych-pop sound with rock sensibilities that are characteristic of a Kieran Ivy track with a 70’s inspired funk touch.

Some standout elements of the song include its slightly behind-the-beat drums, catchy bassline, bright organ sounds, and guitar solo outro, which is a common motif for the artist. “Get out my house” is chill yet cheeky. The contrast between the song’s gritty, distorted vocal hook “get out of my house” and the sunny, groovy production is ironic, but adds to the versatility of the song. You could listen to it when emotions are high or while you’re relaxing with friends.
