Snow aster drops introspective new project “Primavera”

Boston- based native snow aster is back with the release of their latest album “Primavera”. This marks their second release of the year since the drop of their “self workshop” single- a track which didn’t make it on the album.

Snow started working on Primavera sometime in 2021 and was inspired by a painting by Botticelli which shared the same name. According to snow, they wanted to capture the sonic landscape of that painting with the release of this album but over time, it became more of an emotional outlet instead. During the creation of this album, snow was diagnosed with autism and so the vision of the album went from one of a sonic landscape to one of self-discovery. Primavera is about going through life unaware of the unwritten rules that guide it. The tape also boasts of features from Early Gray and plutobit.

Snow made a beautiful work of art with Primavera- everything from production to arrangement was perfect. According to snow, they have some tracks with a different vibe which will hopefully drop soon and we can’t wait to see what they have to offer.
