Shrouded by Intrigue, Wadaness Releases His 3rd Album

Very little is known about Wadaness…. ‘Conjured by bare moonlight’ and ‘Born from the abyss,’ Wadaness seems to transcend the conventional boundaries of artistic identity. But in the caveat of knowing nothing about Wadaness itself — there is plenty to say about the music.

His 3rd album over a 4 year journey, Wadaness’ newest addition ‘The Breeze’ serves as a capstone to an already eclectic discography, showing us just a glimpse at what he is truly capable of — but by design, never quite showing us the full picture. The 33 minute album takes us on a crash course through history — borrowing inspiration from The Police mixed with Tame Impala’s drum production, all with a desire to evoke a sense of strange melancholy…like Joy Division. It's safe to say that Wadaness's approach to music is not merely about the literal auditory experience but rather…. a form of worldbuilding — crafting an immersive reality through sounds. With airy vocals and psychedelic-surf guitar work, Wadaness invites the audience into his imaginative world, allowing the music to articulate its own narrative. Listening to the seven-track album becomes a meditative experience, with each artistic choice being deliberately intentional.

Excitingly, Wadaness has teased the release of FOUR MORE (!) albums by the end of 2024, promising ardent listeners a diverse array of styles. In his own words, "I want everything I intend to come out to be out so I give myself a reason to write new music," indicating a continuous exploration of unbridled creativity.
